    Hello

We’ve been using your plugin and have encountered an issue related to slugs during the republishing of posts. Here are the steps we’ve taken:

    1. We create a page with content (slug – dev-test).
    2. After some time, when we want to make changes, we have only the section content ready. We create a post with the rewrite and republish feature of the original post. When we update the content of the republished version and click on the “Save Draft” button. The republished post does not have any slug. We can review the republished post only through the draft URL.
    3. Once we click on “Save Draft,” the original post’s slug changes to dev-test-2. When we edit that post and click on “Publish” without any changes, the post slug changes to -2, which is not correct. The original post’s slug does not update on republishing the content.
    4. Also, when we republish the new version with the original, the original post’s slug changes back to dev-test.

We would appreciate your guidance on resolving this issue. Your assistance in this matter is highly valued.
