    Is it possible to also convert the original uploaded image to webp – that is, the image in full format

    Do you mean generate a full-sized WebP or do you mean convert the original JPG to WebP? For the first one, yes, it will generate a WebP version for each size (if the WebP is smaller). For the second, no, the originals (JPGs/PNGS) are kept as a fallback in case the WebP can’t be displayed.
