Origin:Thumbnails via url don't appear on homepage (but appear on actual post!)

    I have inserted images via url links into various posts and they appear in Edit Mode–as well as in the actual post when I preview. However, they are not showing up as thumbnails on the homepage of my site.

    I am using the Origin theme.

    I know nothing about code so would need very specific directions if I need to edit the code in any way.
