• Excellent plug-in. But a question/feature request):
I’m shortly going to be wanting to use the plug-in for tag/map for a trip to SE Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, etc.) but I’ve noticed that with OSM all the place names are in the local language (non A-Z alphabet).
e.g. <https://wp-osm-plugin.hanblog.net/examples/display-openstreetmap/> zoom scroll to e.g. Bangkok and only the local non-A-Z name.

Is there any way to switch language to include the western/roman alphabet name e.g. Bangkok. Unfortunately the local Thai, Cambodian, Lao, Vietnamese names are not recognised by most outside the local countries.

I appreciate there may be tile constraints from OSM but any way to utilise e.g. wikipedia maps e.g. <https://maps.wikimedia.org/?lang=en#7/13.539/100.541>

(tried e-mailing via your web site but it never gets sent so using this forum instead)

Many thanks for your response.
I wont be updating until after intended travels (if plans go aheads as planned) as I run a customised version of the plug-in. I’ll post details to a new threads as a “Feature Suggestion”.
