osTickets wrong posting time and dotted username in wordpress

    Hi, I am using this plugin and posting new ticket is working well. Except:
    a) The posting time is not correct — it seems that the plugin does not make time correction based on the wordpress GMT setting. How can this be fixed?

    b) We are using username with dot ie USER.NAME — when posting new ticket in wordpress, the username is merged to become USERNAME. However, the reply to the ticket thread is posted as USER.NAME (correct). Seems like only the first post (opening ticket) would have the username to be changed from USER.NAME to USERNAME
