Other Membership Plugin Compatability

  • I am in the midst of creating a site which will have a membership section for certain parts of the content. I intend to use Membership2 plugin for this and am using WordPress version 4.8.
    My question is: if I install BuddyPress will the login of members through BuddyPress clash with the login for the membership part through Membership2 i.e are they compatible? I also intend to use the rtMedia for WordPress and BuddyPress.

    Any advice would be gratefully accepted.

    Hi @petslife,

    Membership 2 comes with BuddyPress add-on, so once you have both plugins installed you can go to Membership 2 > Add-ons panel, activate BuddyPress Integration and then click on Details link from where you will be able to choose if you want to keep using Membership 2 registration/login or switch to BuddyPress forms.

    There’s no add-on for rtMedia but they should be working with eachother fine as I don’t remember seeing any complaints with the two ??
