Other plugin emails sent to wrong recipient when customized

    Hello,

    Thank you for that great plugin, very easy to use!

    However, I am facing an issue while trying to customize an email from another plugin (quotes for Woocommerce).

    That plugin turns woocommerce into a “quotes-only” shop, which means our customers can place a request of order but confirmation and payment will be handled directly by our staff (not online).

    Admin receives that plugin’s default email “request for new quote” instead of woocommerce default “new order” email.

    I am trying to customize the email “request for new quote” in order to display some extra custom fields, but when clicking “email type” in Email Template Customizer the template “request for new quote” shows under customer, not admin. This means I can customize that template but it will be sent to customers and not to admin.

    I contacted Quotes for Woocommerce plugin support but everything looks fine on their side, is there any way we can fix that?

    For precision I am using the free version of Email Template Customizer, WordPress last version, all plugins up-to-date.

    We are sorry for late reply.

    Emails from the Quote for WooCommerce plugin can go through the default email template of our plugin. Please create a default email template type and check again.

    Hi,

    I tested the default email template, it works, thank you!

    But now there is another issue: the email header and content’s first lines (for instance “hi …, Just to let you know — we’ve received your order #…, and it is now being processed) show only in english.

    My store is 100% Italian, the order details in the email are in italian, all woocommerce strings are correctly translated – but I keep receiving the test emails half italian/half english.

    All plugins are correctly updated, do you have any suggestions?
