Others media not viewable

Hello All

I’m running Codepress Admin Columns 2.0.2 and I have modified my user role ‘contributers’ with the right to upload files (‘upload_files’). Now it seems that after the upgrade from 1.4.x there was a change in handling user capabilities because now I cant view every content with a contributor in the media library. The natural behavior would be, that I could see every media and only edit my own, now I only see my own media. The same applies when I want to add media to a post. Disabling the plugin has resolved that issue.

I checked the plugin code and I can’t tell what’s the issue for sure, so I thought I ask you first about this. Your plugin is really great and helps a lot, but changing the behavior of that WordPress-cap is in my opinion not wanted.
