OTP Numbers automatically appearing on the login page

  • Hello,

    I’m getting some numbers automatically appearing on the login page, which concerns me. It started happening a while ago, but I thought it was due to an update.

    These don’t appear to be the real numbers, but I don’t know what it is. How do I stop this behavior?

  • Sorry for the late response. If I were to guess, it could be because of caching. You may have something caching the login page (which it shouldn’t). Check any cache plugins you have to make sure they aren’t and verify the hosting provider isn’t caching anything on their side. Other than that, a browser plugin may be filling these in albeit incorrectly. Testing by loading the page in a browser without plugins might help to rule that out.

    I can’t recall any other reports of this happening so I’m not able to offer any better solutions.
