After I did the update on 7/29/2022, the Otter plugin is not allowing my headings to show with the “Work Sans” font. I added CSS and the font was showing great on my headings until I did the update and it changed my font. I had to revert to the old version to fix the problem. Any ideas when this problem will be fixed so I can update my plugin?

    Thank you, Jorge

    Hey @jorgejrbooks,

How exactly did you add that font? Was it added in one of our blocks using our Font picker or by the Custom CSS tab in the sidebar?

    Let us know, thank you!

Hello, thank you for your reply. I added that font 2 ways using my Pressbook Theme I chose it for headings but also to some areas in my blog using the Custom CSS tab in the sidebar. Thank you, Jorge

Can you give us link to the page where you’ve added it so we could see how the code renders on the website? Thank you!

Hello, this is the link to one of my pages https://jorgemartinezjr.com/brain-power-how-to-boost-your-intellectual-ability/. Right now I have the plugin on the old version. Do you need me to update it to see the difference?

I’m also experiencing issues with Otter Blocks after a site that I’m currently developing auto-updated from 2.8 to 2.9.

My mobile adjustments to advanced columns were no longer working. Instead of displaying the padding and margin settings for Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop, I would just whatever setting I input last for all 3. So if I set Mobile: padding 20px; Tablet: padding 40px; Desktop: padding 60px, I would get 60px padding at all breakpoints.

I’m also now having issues where the Group Block won’t retain its settings if I change it to a Row or a Stack. Every time I update the post, it reverts to the default Group block settings.

I also had to roll back to 2.8 to keep working, but let me know if you need to see these issues in action and I can re-apply the update.

    Thanks!

Oh whoops, the Group Block issue was an Astra problem.

    Hey @jorgejrbooks,

Yes, if you can update the plugin and tell us exactly which part we can inspect for the issue, that will be very helpful.

    Thank you!

    Hey @cmickens84,

As per www.ads-software.com Forum Guidelines, can you please create a new issue for your question? It gets a bit confusing when dealing with two different issues on a single thread, as half of the replies will not be relevant to one person.

    Thank you!

Hello Hardeep, I updated the plugin. You are going to notice on the top nav bar on this page https://jorgemartinezjr.com/articles/, “Articles” “Newsletters” “About” “Schools” is no longer font “Work Sans”. Also, on the home page and wherever I have headings it is no longer font “Work Sans” font. “Read Article” “Learn More” all the headings for the blog posts where I added CSS it changed my font. Thank you so much, Jorge

Thank you, @jorgejrbooks, we’ve noted it down and can see what might be the cause. We will fix it in the upcoming release of the plugin.
