Out bid notifications

Hello,

I had an auction last month on my website. All went well but we received complaints that people bidding on the item had no clue that they had been outbid. They had to keep checking back and they did not have time for that. Is there any plans to add an option to send the winning bidder an email that they have just been out bid so they can come to the auction and bid again? We had a person tell us that he would have beat the winning bid had he known his bid was no longer the winning bid. I see that your documentation says “15. Outbid Email sent to all bidders who has been outbid.” Not sure what is going on there.

I looked under settings and I don’t see any options to configure such a thing and assumed it would happen automatically. He said he never received any communication that he was outbid or that the auction was over. Can there be some communication settings for these types of things?

Also when the auction is over it just disappears from the page it was added to so visitors follow the same link they were using and nothing is there telling them who won. Can we keep the auction info alive but close the auction displaying the winner? Keeping the info available via the same place it was originally posted?
