• Anyone else having out of country (USA) subscribers ?
After checking the domain they were coming from, I found the domain was listed as a SPAM site… Although I have blocked their acess to the blog, I wonder if we should be concerned ? Wonder if they are trying to get into our host “sendmail” functions through the blog code.
    Anyone experienced this ?

    Steve

  • No, they are seeing if they could harvest the email addresses of your commentators. (Try creating a contributor account and you would see what I mean.)

    Tanks,
Will keep an open eye on it…
Have have about 10 attempts from out of the country in the last several days
    Many Thanks for your insight

I’m not sure what being out of the country should mean… I’m getting plenty of that sort of thing from US-based servers too.

Spam is spam, there’s no point being particularly xenophobic since they’re in your back-yard as well.
