    Hello.

i love this plugin. but today i have problem.

I have “Out of disk space. Unable to write content to file. File: /home/knightnet/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage/7z98z6gmkfzm/knightnet.co.kr-20190820-233526-356.wpress” issue

I had already check permissions on your wp-content directory to 775 and delete another backup file.

    how can i do?

  • It’s nothing to do with permissions – to create files to store the backup data before it is moved somewhere else or downloaded space is require – and your allocated space for your hosting is simply not enough.
So best to discuss with your hosting company…

    Hi,

    I’m having the same issue.

I found the reason while trying a download, as I got a “out of disk space” error trying to create a new download.

I was able to solve it by deleting some old backup-files.

I’m still wondering why – I have used less than 1.5GB of my 100GB disk space – so an out of disk space error seems strange. The deleted old-backups was in total about 4-5GB so even this could not cause the issue.

I think a good strategy is to browse the folders to see if there are any large files.
You can usually do this via FTP, or if on cPanel it has an excellent file-manager.
I have switched from BackupBuddy & Updraft Plus to AllInOne and I found the two former plugins had left zip files that should have been uploaded to my Amazon S3 folder, but obviously had failed, which is why this issue has also been my experience.
So try that and see if you can clean up any unwanted files…

Thats what I did. But how can the issue appear if you have plenty of disk-space available. As I said I still had at least 90GB disc-space left when the issue occured.

There are 2 conditions when you will see the above error message:
    1. There is not enough disk space
    2. The hosting provider has limited the number of reads/writes on the disk space that they have allocated to you – when you attempt to write/read more than what you are allowed to do per 1 hour/minute/second
