• In a bit of a bind and trying to help this church fix their website. The chap that bought the theme left their employment and doesn’t appear to have left any login details for Qode.

I have also reached out to Qode but will wait and see.

Meantime, I tried switching to the default 2025 theme, and whilst that drops all customisations, etc, then the issue is still there. The issue being that when you scroll down on the main page you can see loads of HTML/CSS which shouldn’t be.

I’m guessing a corrupt page or similar somewhere but have no idea where to look. Any suggestions most welcome – thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This [vc_row css_animation=” indicates that the Visual Composer plugin is not active or installed. Check your plugin list.

What you see there are shortcodes of the previously used PageBuilder, probably WPBakery or Visual Composer. These are now in every single page and require the use of this PageBuilder to no longer display them but to have them interpreted correctly.

    So you have 2 options:

    • You use the previous PageBuilder again and probably also the old theme. Tip: if you have invoices, you can probably get access data and license information based on them.
    • You rebuild the entire website from scratch. You could do this parallel to the current website in the hosting and when you are finished you switch the domain.
