• Dear Takayuki,

We are setting the reply-to in the additional headers but have noticed that auto replies such as out of office are being sent back to the email address of the sender and not the reply-to address being specified. This means the sender (as in our secure email gateway) is receiving the out of office instead of the email address of the person who originally posted the form.

There is a topic on SO about this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3178429/out-of-office-replies-are-sent-to-from-address-not-reply-to

But what provision does CF7 have to set or override the sender-reply or the return-path address. This used to be able to be specified in an older version of CF7 but no longer seems to work?

So how can we get the out of office to go to the email address of the form as opposed to the sender of the message?

    Thanks

    Rob

It’s up to anyone/thing that responds to the mail to choose which property is most appropriate to use.

I think this comment has a point.

Thank you for your reply, however, it does seem pretty consistent that auto-replies are being sent to the sender and not the reply-to.

What additional header value can I specify in CF7 to cover all eventualities?
