    Dear WooCommerce Team,

I am having an intermittent issue with buyers being notified that products are out of stock when the checkout. This in turn displays as a failed order.

I am not monitoring inventory/stock with woocommerce and have made sure each product and all settings do not have this enabled.

I must add that is happening with both simple and variable products but intermittently.

    Please can you assist.

    Hey @garethduplessis

I am not monitoring inventory/stock with woocommerce and have made sure each product and all settings do not have this enabled.

Do you mean that at both a storewide level and at a product level, you don’t have any inventory control/stock levels enabled?

I must add that is happening with both simple and variable products but intermittently.

If this isn’t all the time and is intermittent, then this is likely caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. Read more about plugin and theme conflicts in our Self-Service Guide.

For more detailed instructions about conflict testing, check out this – How to test for plugin and theme conflicts.

Please let us know how that goes.

    Thanks,

    Hi Doug,

That is correct, Both storewide and product level is set to NOT track inventory.

I have tried switching off plugins to test but this is not going to solve the issue.
Reason being is this error is intermittent, one minute the product will checkout perfectly and then all of a sudden it won’t.

I don’t see how switching off plugins are going to resolve an intermittent issue.

    Hey @garethduplessis @mtedesco1283 @tarquin @thomaskerrya

The “Sorry, we do not have enough…” error was a core WooCommerce bug. I apologize for not catching this initially.

This was fixed in the 3.5.2 release of WooCommerce, please ensure you update WooCommerce safely and you will see this is fixed.

As this is a fixed bug, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions or updating doesn’t fix the issue, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
