out of stock has resulted in buy now button disapearing attribute not showing

  • i am going through the process of setting up a store, & during that process the 2 adverts i had listed on the site have changed to –

    “out of stock” being displayed on the advert page,
    & the buy now button disapearing & the attributes i added not showing.

    i have gone through all the possibilities that i can think of & after researching on the net have tried various things,

    it is still saying “out of stock” even after –

    /wp-admin/edit.php?s&post_status=all&post_type=product&action=-1&product_cat&product_type&stock_status=instock&filter_action=Filter&paged=1&action2=-1

    going to the above url & clicking on “quick edit”

    & also doing this which i found on a previous post on the wclovers forum

    & unticking “enable stock management”

    1. but it is showing “out of stock” & i cant get it back to have the products in stock
    2. & the attributes wont show on the page (the attribute is for sizes)
    3. & the buy now button has disapeared from the page (i assume because it is out of stock)

    also, the attributes

    wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product&page=product_attributes&edit=1

    only give an option for Type
    select
    color
    image
    button

    but i want a drop down button to select the different sizes.

    where it says “going to the above url & clicking on “quick edit”” above i meant to add –
    and changing to “in stock”
    when you do this & click “update” it still says next to “In stock?” “no change”

    i have tried this a few times
