Out of stock variable product can be added to cart

I just updated to the latest version of your plugin and just noticed that customers can still order out of stock items. The catalog shows ‘out of stock’ but the this is not shown on the product page and customers can still add the item to their cart. This is only the case for variable products, not with simple products.
Also the inventory tab for variable products doesn’t show any options to change the stock status. I can only change the general stock status of variable products in the woocommerce admin products overview (quick or bulk edit function).
Could this be a bug in the new update?
