We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with our plugin.

    No outbound links
Can you please confirm how exactly did you add the outbound links on the relevant page? Did you add the links by using the relative format or absolute format? Did you use any 3rd party page builder plugin? Did you add the links outside of the content editor?

    Not enough text lengths
The issue you’re experiencing here typically when using a 3rd party page builder plugin. Can you please confirm whether you’re running a 3rd party page builder plugin on your site? If yes, which one you’re currently running?

We look forward to hearing from you.

Yes I use WPBakery Builder to build pages. The links are added using WpBakery

Thanks for your confirmation. By default, Yoast SEO analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL, the main content box (WordPress editor). If you are adding your content through WPBakery Builder, Yoast SEO for WordPress might not be able to detect it by default.

In the past, we have tried to parse shortcodes and other content boxes with inferior results. Therefore, we opted to provide plugin and theme developers with an API that they can use to pass their content to our page analysis.

If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This help article will help them with the implementation —?Can I add data to the page analysis?

With that being said, while our plugin isn’t able to detect all your text blocks and shows an incorrect analysis report, this doesn’t mean that search engines won’t be able to parse them. Our content analysis is to validate the content of your website and doesn’t really affect how search engines crawl and index your site.

Ok, but that makes it kinda hard to know if you have done a good job with SEO or not.

We understand your concern and difficulties understanding whether you’re doing a good job with the content you’re writing or not. In this case, you may want to switch to the default Gutenberg content editor to make sure that Yoast SEO can detect the content correctly and shows the best possible content optimization guidelines.
