We are trying to add a hyperlink to an external resource for our candidates, but, when the page is published, the links do not work.

The links were set up to take a visitor to a new window and a page called “www.myowncareercoach.net”.

However, when the page is published, when the link is clicked, it looks for a page with the URL: https://www.hiregraymatter.com/candidates/www.myowncareercoach.net

The prefix, hiregraymatter.com/candidates is the page where we’ve placed the link.

I don’t understand how this is happening.

You need to add the https:// prefix to the links, otherwise the browser thinks it’s a relative link to your own domain.

    So, https://www.myowncareercoach.net
