Outbound Mail SLOW

    I did not previously use Email with my wordpress site.
    Outbound replies are taking up to 20 minutes to reach a recipient.

    What outbound server is being used?

    I have inbound email working fine thru Microsoft 365.

    Hello @craigreilly,

    Are you observing the same delay for other email sending functionalities like forgot password etc. Our outbound messages are instantaneous as we are using PHP email triggering functions which are depending on the server configuration.

    Seems to be better today. Yes, some servers (ie: gmail) were quick and my work email server was very slow to even receive it – about 15 minutes.
    I downloaded a plugin to test this morning, and everything seems to be working smoothly. must have been a server delay of some sort.
