    Hello,

    On 10.10. I had a transaction with Braintree and from Braintree it gave me the below message. I would like to ask – do the plugin need to be upgraded some how for this Braintree change? Or do I need to do something? Because since this transaction was 2 days ago and it happened through outdates SDK, my first guess was the plugin need to be upgraded for this change?

    The message is:

    3D Secure Information:
    3DS1: Due to card network changes, 3DS1 transactions will see increasing decline rates in the coming months. By mid October 2022 all 3DS1 transactions will be declined. If you haven’t already, please make sure to upgrade to 3DS2, as described in Migrating to 3D Secure 2.

    Outdated SDK: The SDK version used for this transaction, web/2.32.1, is incompatible with 3DS2. In order to be able to upgrade to 3DS2, please upgrade to the latest version of our Client SDK, as described in Client SDK Migration.

    Ok, thank you. Can you please let me know what they say, if it can be done within 1-2 weeks, because I am planning to use this website and if the Braintree payment won’t work for some time, I will need to know so to find some other solution till this one is ready.

    Hello guys, any news about the upgrade for 3DS2 with Braintree? It will be beneficial if you can give us info if you have intention to upgrade this or not, so we know how to proceed.
    My payments still go through, but it says, that more and more will be declined.

    Hello, we just did one test and the payment went through without red sign in Braintree! ?? So it is working, just we don’t know if it’s for most cards. We will keep an eye to see if most payments go through from now on and if there is some error, I will write again.

    The only thing I noticed now is that in Braintree we can’t see from whom is the payment. I mean – there is no email or name, that goes to Braintree for us to see who register. We can see it in the website, but if there are many people – we wouldn’t recognise which payment from which person is coming. Can it somehow transfer the name and email to Braintree so we can see which payment from who is coming?

    That way if a payment doesn’t go through we would be able to see the name and the email of the person in Braintree and contact them. While now – if the payment doesn’t go through – it doesn’t make registration in the website and it doesn’t show name/email in Braintree, so we can’t contact the person.

    I use one other plugin for other website and see the name/email is transefered in Braintree, so I guess it can happen?

    Let me see if I can make the name and email fields required field for the Braintree checkout form. That should solve this.

    One final thing (I promise) – when someone register, they receive an email form us to welcome them. The email comes from the plugin. My problem is that the email goes to the new registrant from “WordPress.com”, not from the name of my website. And some people told me, they would skip the welcome email, because they don’t recognise the sender name. So my question is – how can I make the welcome email to be sent from my website name, which is “Saznatelen.com” and not coming form “WordPress”?

    Just to make sure, are you currently running the latest version 4.2.1?

    Go to WP Membership -> Settings -> Email Settings -> Email Misc. Settings and make sure you follow the instructions below.

    Note: If you enter your e-mail address like [email protected]or a different email like gmail, Hotmail, yahoo etc the new subscriber will receive in their inbox an e-mail with WordPress in the inbox. If you want your company name to appear in the inbox then you need to type the following, make sure you include the greater > and less than < symbols like this. Your Company Name <[email protected]>
