    Hello,

On 10.10. I had a transaction with Braintree and from Braintree it gave me the below message. I would like to ask – do the plugin need to be upgraded some how for this Braintree change? Or do I need to do something? Because since this transaction was 2 days ago and it happened through outdates SDK, my first guess was the plugin need to be upgraded for this change?

    The message is:

    3D Secure Information:
3DS1: Due to card network changes, 3DS1 transactions will see increasing decline rates in the coming months. By mid October 2022 all 3DS1 transactions will be declined. If you haven’t already, please make sure to upgrade to 3DS2, as described in Migrating to 3D Secure 2.

Outdated SDK: The SDK version used for this transaction, web/2.32.1, is incompatible with 3DS2. In order to be able to upgrade to 3DS2, please upgrade to the latest version of our Client SDK, as described in Client SDK Migration.

    hello ??

    yes, we are with 4.2.1.

We did a test – the customer receives the email from our site, which is great!!! Thank you very much!!!

In Braintree still doesn’t appear name from the payment. It’s not mandatory. But when a payment doesn’t go through for some reason – it is not signed in the website. So I see it only in Braintree. If I don’t have name in Braintree – I just see that there is failed payment in Braintree. And if we have name and email there I could contact the person to pay in other way for example.

Thank you for reporting back. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue.

    Kind regards.

The plugin submits the name and email when it sends the transaction request to the Braintree API. I am not sure if Braintree saves that info for a failed transaction.

You see this issue only for failed transactions correct?

    Hello ??

No, it’s with all transactions. I mean I can not see any name in Braintree – neither with successful transactions, neither with failed transactions.

Hello! Happy new year! Sorry for the late response. I just updated the plugin, test it and YES – there is name and email address in Braintree showing up, which will be amazing benefit! Thank you very much! :)))

One informative question – do you intent in near future to include Braintree subscription, not only one time payment?

Thank you for confirming that it is working.

I will add the Braintree subscription to our Wishlist for future.
