    Up until recently, outgoing mail started failing. Test messages now fail with:

    SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.
    2020-08-24 09:42:14 CLIENT -> SERVER: QUIT
    2020-08-24 09:42:14 SMTP INBOUND: “535-5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted.

    Under General SMTP status shows CONNECTED.
    I’m unable to Revoke access by visiting account settings. Inside my connected Google account, there is no reference to this APP.

    We’re at a loss. Why has the bad password error started if the password hasn’t changed? Why can’t we revoke access to try and set up again?

    @digitalmad, It’s possible that somehow the app got disconnected in your account. Simply delete the access key in the Revoke Access tab so you can reauthorize.
