    Hello ?? ??

We are looking for a new filter for our site, but I need a feature that most filters lack. I want to ask you if you have such an option.
I will explain to you with an example, because it will be easier that way.

For example, we have a clothing store.

We have a blouse of which there are s, m, l sizes, but only L is available.
    S- 0
    M- 0
    L- 2

the customer looks for size “S”, respectively when he sets a filter for this size, he has to get all the models that have AVAILABLE “S”, and for most filters he gets size “S ‘, provided that there are no quantities available.

My question is with your filter can I solve this problem?

    Hello Marinow1991,

The functionality that you seek can be achieved only by means of multiple queries performed on each filtering call, and thus is very hard on one’s server/database. We do have a beta option that does that, it even works in combination with the built in Woocommerce Out of stock visibility setting located on the WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory page.

The beta option is called Stock filter variations support, and you will find it in annasta Filters > Plugin settings admin section. Please click here to read about it in the corresponding section of our plugin documentation.

With it being a beta option (possibly forever, for it certainly does not work for just any user), please remember that you are always welcome to provide us with feedback if you decide to use it in your shop!

Of course, this involves a lot of requests, but in reality for a case like clothes or shoes, this is the only correct option.

At what point does it load the server? When filtering or creating a permanent load on the site / server?

    Dear Marinow1991,

The queries are performed during filtering, not permanently, and even get some caching support. But still, as you may understand, an entry-level hosting account serving a site with thousands of product variations would most likely get overwhelmed!

    Hello Marinow1991,

I’ll go ahead and mark this inactive thread as resolved, please don’t hesitate to open a new one if you have any further questions!
