Output Filter for $author

Hi there,

This is such an amazing plugin. THANK YOU for building this, Bill.

Is there any way to filter the output to place the $author and $date tags as the last two items in the DOM of a post?

It seems as though any time I try to re-order the $output and include the $author, my site breaks.
