  • Hello there,
    first of all grats for this really nice piece of code, I must ask how can be possible to make the suggestion windows to show directly words starting with the first letter that is typed instead of fetching words following alphabetical order and showing first words that start with A but contain the letter or the letters that are typed into the search bar.

    Eg:

    u search lion and before seeing this word it is shown up eg camalion cause i guess that the query to the tables is in alphabetic order. from A to Z.

    Any clue?

    In advance, I am working locally so no website available to check out and I saw that already a person asked this around 6 months ago without receiving answers, so I guess it is still an interesting topic.

    use the delay option in ajaxy, so you can delay a little before searching and give the user more time to put more letters before searching
