I would have searched first for other posts on this problem but this forum doesn’t appear to have a search feature.

When a page is first viewed and a cached copy does not yet exist, it makes sense that the page should take a little longer to load as it’s creating the stored cached copy for the first time.

However, is it normal for pages to take 74+ seconds to be generated the first time?

<!– Dynamic page generated in 74.194 seconds. –>
    <!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2014-11-10 20:11:19 –>

    <!– Compression = gzip –>

Every page on my site gets similar first-time loads.
