• The plugin and all of its features worked just fine on my site: it’s well-executed and lacked any of the kludginess you often see with WP plugins.

Yahoo’s dithering algorithm negated the plugins usefulness to me: on bulk conversions the dithering was uneven so I had to double-check each picture and re-upload the ones that were over-dithered.

I think that if you’re using the “Save for Web” feature in Photoshop – and you’re using it correctly – you’re more at risk of damaging your uploaded photos than seeing any page-rendering speed benefit.

    Hey there.

Thanks for your review, I’m really sorry to see you rated us so low.

I just wanted to mention that the compression is handled by the Yahoo Smush.it service, our plugin simply connects into that. It seems like this review is more about their service than our plugin.

Did you provide any feedback to Yahoo?

If you need any help then please feel free to open a support ticket.

I think that’s a very fair objection to my rating….and I came back to change it but, I can’t(?)

Am I missing something, here? Is there no way to change the rating? Or delete the comment, entirely?

    Hey again.

Thank you for popping back in and leaving your new comment, I really appreciate that. ??

I think the only way is to ask the guys here at WP.org to edit or remove it. I’ve tagged them so hopefully they will drop in and take a look. ??

Thanks again, have a great weekend! ??
