Overall good but does not seem to work with iPhones
-
I have implemented the free version of AMPforWP (for testing) with the menu and GDPR options enabled.
The site tests fine if I check it with Chrome (Lighthouse) and Firefox and the functionality and back-end interface look ideal.
However, testing against a smartphone target (an iPhone) the menu works intermittently and on page links don’t to work at all.
Some iPhone functionality can be obtained if javascript on the iPhone is turned off and the plugin’s GDPR option is disabled.
On balance looks like a potentially excellent plugin, but one which is not sufficiently stable / debugged for deployment.
If it worked it would definitely be worth a 5* rating, but not in its present state as it is undeployable in a production environment.
UPDATE 20200911
There is an issue with the plugin but we have been able to predictably replicate the problem. This has been passed on to the developers and I’m hoping to be able to revise my review to 5* as soon as fixed.
