• I installed wordpress two days ago and on my site I have set up the content using DIVS, I only want one post a day to show up which it does. I have two problems when clicking on my archive link it loads them all behind that days post, yet when you click any of the catergories it’s loads them almost correctly as I can see the second post it brings up is actually slightly out of place from my original DIV (nearer the left)
Do I have to control the layout only using CSS, or can I as I have create my own DIVs with specific widths?
    I.E div id=”holdcontent” style=”position:absolute; left:20px; top:196px; width:600px; height:550px; z-index:2;”
    ??

Ok if I keep the divs I have but do not specify positioning in the div but specifiy this in my css what’s the css for it.
I’m in bahrain and don’t have access to any good bookshops until next week when I’m back in the UK. Just need a quick fix of CSS from someone to position the three DIVS (Layers) I have or can I just use what is above but reference that in the css minus the quotes?
    1.headercontent
    2.maincontent
3.menu (which already has style but no positioning)…
    Thanks
