    Hi, since the last updated of my theme Evolve plus, the picture overlay doesn’t work. When people click on the picture it opens full screen. I don’t want that. I want the pic just as an overlay on the page. I turned the Lightbox function in my theme on and off but no result. What can I do? Maybe you can advise a plugin for the job? https://www.eckkies.nl/

  • Try with one by one plugin disable. This issue generate with CSS/JS optimize plugins. Remove JS files form auto optimize. Clear caches and check.

    can you exclude js/jquery/jquery.js from JS optimization?

    Hi Frank, can you help me with this?. I know WP but I do not know my way in css and js. If you can help me please contact me via my website. Then we can discuss in Dutch. But only if it is not too much for you.

    sure;
    * go to settings -> autoptimize
    * make sure advanced settings are visible (click button if not)
    * go to “Javascript options” block
    * find “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize:” and in the input-field next to it add ,js/jquery/jquery.js (comma in front as this is a comma-separated list)
    * click on “save changes”
    * purge any page cache you might have

    and that should fix the “jquery not defined”-errors and might fix your overlay-issue as well.
