    Hi!

    I added this css to a block-cover so that the “overlay” color and dim would let the background image show through. But it doesn’t respond so in all slides; the second one continues to show the cover-block as opaque. There seems to be a persisting black layer which doesn’t allow for the transparency magic to happen.

    .slider_ateliers .wp-block-cover {
      background-color: unset;
    }

    I’ve been going around trying to understand where is this mysterious layer coming from. Can you help me?

    Hi,

    Issue solved. The image in the background was identified as a video, for whatever reason. Even if it was a jpg. I changed the image and hte cover-block behaved as expected.

    Thanks anyway,

    All best

    Thank you for following up and adding an explanation, @nomadarod. This will help people running into the same issue!

    I am going to mark this as solved.
