• Was hoping this is a better alternative to ***, but this is exactly as unreliable and full of bugs.

Tested it with 6 different WordPress installs on 6 different hostings. Out of these, on 2 it didn’t work. It would throw errors such as:
Your proposed upload is smaller than the minimum allowed size: S3 re-assembly error.

Also when trying to delete the backups it would just hang.

Last but not least, on the existing backups overview there’s no way to tell whether the backup is saved locally, remotely or both. Way to go, essentially you’re flying blind and have no validation where the backup is saved.

Don’t get me started on the available backup schedules, this is just so unbelievable limited.

PS: I work as a storage system engineer in a company which has more than 60 petabytes of storage serving 25’000 servers.

    Hi,

If you have a problem with UpdraftPlus, please open a ticket in the support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/updraftplus

Your proposed upload is smaller than the minimum allowed size: S3 re-assembly error.

This indicates that your web hosting disk account space is full – there was no space to create the backup prior to sending it to Amazon S3.

As such, it seems that you’re not finding problems with the backup plugins you’re trying, but needing to get more disk space on your web hosting account. Please do open a support forum thread for any future needs.

    Best wishes,
    David

In fact, there is. Just ask about it in the support forum.
