• Hi! I am totally fascinated by background manager! But actually it does not work the way I expected…

I added an image set and tried to override the default image set by the new one:
Widget: “Override by Category” and marked the desired categories.

When displaying a post having one of the marked categories, the default image set is still used… ??

The categories I chose were from a custom post type… Maybe I do something wrong there?

    Thanks
    Enno

    Hello,

BGM has some quirks when it comes to custom taxonomies / post types, so it may well be that you are encountering a bug with this.

Is it a particular theme or plugin that you are using for these custom post types? If so, I can have a look if there’s a way to work around this for you.

    Thanks for fast reply, myatu!
I use the x2 theme by themekraft with the FAQ plugin:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/q-and-a/

This plugin generates a custom post type “FAQ”.
For this CPT it is not working.

    Kind regards

Hi there, I’m having a similar issue. I’m trying to use background images for particular product categories, but instead of sticking to those categories only, it appears everywhere. This is my site: https://jackiesjava.incite-m.com/product/nutrageous

…right now it’s showing the Colombia background when it should be showing the Brazil background.

Actually, I was able to fix my issue. I set up a plain white background as the “active background” (which was a sort of invisible background since all the backgrounds were already white), then I was able to control the product categories again, with my other image sets.
