Is there a way to override the default parameters for a singlepic in the shortcode? Specifically, I’m trying to override the image_crop parameter and can’t get it to work. I note the override_thumbnail_settings for the nextgen Basic Thumbnail gallery, but nothing for singlepic. And that parm doesn’t working for singlepic (tried it just for giggles).

    Thanks for any help here.

@wabrou – There is the crop parameter which is a boolean setting (1 or 0); and you have the width and height parameters (set in pixels) which might be of use. There is no specific method to set a crop area though.

    Thanks for your reply.

I use the width and height parms in the singlepic shortcode just fine. The issue arises in trying to control the boolean “crop thumbnail” parm in the same shortcode.

In gallery settings, I have the crop factor set to no. But I need to override it in a single instance use of the singlepic shortcode. I can’t find anything that tells me there is a crop parameter for use in the shortcode. If there is, what is it, or how is it used in the shortcode.

@wabrou – The crop parameter is just that (the styles in the forums leave a bit to be desired) … to use it add crop=1 to the shortcode to turn it on, especially since you have it set to “off” in the Gallery Settings.

    Thanks!
