Override font in customizr theme

The best place is the style.css of the child theme

I added the following code to my style.css file and it did not change anything:

body, p {
  font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, sans-serif
}

I tried several variations, but it seems like this theme doesn’t allow you to change the fonts except through their customize options.

I am having trouble changing the font colors in blog post.
It works fine after 2 headings but then it won’t change font colors at all.
Anybody have a fix for this.
