    The plugin file should not be altered because you’ll lost the changes on each plugin update.

    If you need to modify the code, I suggest you to use the filters and action provided by the plugin.

    If you need a filter or action.

    Please, provide more information about the filter or action you wants and I’ll send it to our developers to evaluate the possibility to include it in a future release.

    In this way, you’ll be able to use your custom code without need to modify the plugin.
