I am based in Ireland and there 2 rates of tax that apply to my business. 23% for products and 13.5% for labour/services.

However when a product is supplied and installed by us (i.e. providing labour) ?on the same order, we are supposed to charge 13.5% on the whole order.

Is there a way of overriding the recalculate function in orders so that just that one rate applies? As it works at the moment it shows 2 rates, one at 23% and one at 13.5

(I have set labour up as a ‘product’ with a price and reduced rate tax so that the price can be changed from order to order)

    Hello woody60,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand that you need a way to apply a single 13.5% tax rate to the entire order when both a product and installation service are included, as currently, WooCommerce calculates 23% for products and 13.5% for services.

    Is my understanding correct?

There’s no option in core WooCommerce to apply only the 13.5% tax and remove the 23% tax in cases like this. To achieve this, you might consider a plugin or custom code that could help conditionally apply the reduced rate when both items are in the cart.

I recommend consulting a professional developer who can write custom code for you.
You can find one at Codeable.io or WooExperts.com.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us again if you have more questions or concerns.
We are here to help ??

    Best regards.
