Overriding Tutor LMS templates with Oxygen

Currently, the Oxygen Builder deactivates WordPress theme systems which means that the current method of overriding the tutor LMS templates becomes obsolete. I would be lovely if there was a tutorial made available to the public ( Or documentation ) on how to utilise a custom plugin to override these templates much like this one from WPDevDesign which is premium which is a barrier to entry for many users form lower-income countries.
