    Hello everybody
I have a problem with the override of a view that I would like to change.

    As per your indication
    https://motopress.com/document/hotel-booking-overriding-templates/

    I copied the checkout-view.php file
    wp-content/plugins/motopress-hotel-booking-lite/includes/views/shortcodes
    in my thema child folder
    wp-content/themes-child/hotel-booking

but whatever changes I make there is no change.
    Where am I wrong?
Do you have any advice on this?
    Thanks again

    Hello there!

    Thank you for your question.
I sure get what you’re trying to complete, but I would like to inform you that only Hotel Booking plugin templates that are located under /wp-content/motopress-hotel-booking/templates/ may be overriden this way. So you can’t actually update-protect modification in the plugin shortcodes, unfortunately.

Instead, in order to make some updates-protected changes to your booking confirmation/checkout page, you may need to override functions from the “checkout-view.php” file and add them to your “functions.php” of the child theme.

    Thanks @eugenewhite
for your clarifications on the override.

I wrote directly to motopress support and they told me how to add these changes to the function.php file.
    Thanks @john Davis motopress support
