• I got a problem with this plugin. The idea is wonderful and kinda of what i need, but there some inconvenient things.

    What i want:
I set up a default price in Woocommerce. Then set up a special price for a certain user role.

When i check now the default price is gone (i haven’t set up the visitor/loggedin role price in the plugin), but the special price is visible to the certain role.
I don’t like to set up a price for each role for each product. It’s a lot of work and totally not convenient.

Do i something wrong? Or isn’t it possible this way?

In last case, here is my feature request:

Move the ‘Enable role price’-option to each role so you can keep the default price for all roles, except the role where you enable role price. That price should overrule the default price.
This way the process is a more logical way to do.

    Hi,

it is not all that simple and easy as you wish, unfortunately. If plugin will be made your way it won’t work with currencies, sales prices and coupon discounts.
This plugin was specially created to work with WP All Import so that you don’t need to manually fill in all prices, but to assure that it is 100% bulletproof that user buy product @ price he was assigned to.

I completely get your point about it being logical but since other plugins may interfere with price as well in reality it is not possible and or safe solution, we did try ??

    Best regards,

    That’s too bad… ??

I got an idea, a featurerequest, then. Wouldn’t it be possible to do it the other way around?
So you have an extra option at each role’s tab in the plugin where you let the plugin fill in the woocommerce default price and sale price (and other fields etc..) automatically. So the prices will be copied over to the plugin this way.
Then you got basicly the overruling thing without interfering the working of the plugin and compatible plugins. Best of both worlds??

This would work for someone with 100 products but if there are 5000 by example you will kill your server pretty much.

I don’t know much about the weight for the server for this.
Maybe the process can be done in chunks to save the server a bit.
