• Hi there.
I’m continuously working on my blog, and your plug-in is really nice, and I keeping eye on it to propose all the possible valuable improvements.

And today I just figured out awesome feature, you’ll be happy to implement. You missing the JPEG optimization. Completely, if Google is right about it.

I started my overall blog speed optimization, and, as far as you know, Google is now very much attention paying to the site speed.

By this link you can find Google’s assessment for my site speed – and guess what – images are very under optimized
    https://y-remont.ru/wp-content/uploads/speed.png

According to this topic there are some PHP-based functions, which can do the job.
By implementing this feature you’ll be able to compete with “Smush It WP plugin”, which does nothing except optimization for a lot of money ??

Hope for solution, because manually re-optimize images seems to be not a good option…

Now I’ve found and tried this:

    Free Plug-in

It has an API, and works via it.

It did job from several attempts because of unstable connection between my and their remote server.

Google is much more happy now – from 27 to 70 points in mobile version speed test.

    Great.

I’m trying to make a same feature which without remote server. now i’ve figured out the jpeg optimization.

    ??

On VPS or VDS seems to be Jpegoptim or\and image magic – are the best.

But to cut costs I’m using shared PHP hosting, so there are limited options for it ??

I think it wouldn’t cause more stress to server cpu. perhaps, i don’t know.

    Anyway, good luck..

I mean it is impossible to install additional packages to make imageoptim to work, for example.

If you will do it – fine!

Okay, The JPEG Optimization is released in Pro Edition. The scan feature currently in development.

Not a problem, PRIZM works awesome.

What do you mean “scan feature”?

The “scan feature” means scan all compressible attachments, and compress one by one automatically. include all thumb sizes.
