Overview of how to include head tag

I am a webmaster with some knowledge of code but I am not a developer. I’m trying to gain a high level understanding of how to embed Mapbox maps from my Mapbox account into WordPress so that I can select the appropriate plugin and/or guide the work of a developer.

The map uses data layers from Mapbox Studio and is ready to go, I just need to embed it into the appropriate pages. The sample HTML code I get from Mapbox has related script and style tags in the head tag, and Mapbox GL JS for the map embed and functionality.

Previously I have only used Google Maps which work with a simple Iframe. With the Mapbox GL, how do I embed the maps so that the head tags are included?
