Overview – problem

  • Running WordPress v5.22

    I installed this plugin (v12.6.7) a couple weeks ago.

    Whenever I select the “Overview” option, the display flashes and flickers – constantly – for about ~30 seconds.

    Then each section slowly appears, showing its data.

    I received this message this evening (Jul-26-2019) – from my Hosting company >

    It has come to our attention that your site has been using up a lot of entry processes for your server. Due to this, it is blocking connection attempts from your visitors to your site. When we took a look at your site to see what might be using up the entry processes, we see that they are all from the IP x.x.x.x. We suspect you have an internet browser opened on your computer/laptop/smartphone with your WordPress admin panel page, and it is constantly refreshing the page over and over again.

    We would advise you to make sure you exit/log out of the WordPress admin panel page when not in use so it does not use up all your server’s entry processes.

    I’m always careful to logout – after each login session.

    Also checked my cellphone, but nothing is connected.

    Is this weird page refresh – a normal thing…?

    Thank you for reporting, It seems your server has some limitation in current requests and we have solved this issue in the new structure of plugin that available in below repository

    Hi Mostafa,

    Have only the Admin page showing – and under the Statistics heading,
    there are 18 options.

    #1 Overrview = didn’t want to test option today. I know what happens… ??

    All these other pages – load instantly (plus/minus a few ms).

    #18 is the Donate option. Here’s the result of clicking upon >

    First time, I simply closed that PayPal window, and lost my Admin Page.

    Reloaded the website – and was still logged in – fine.

    Tried the Donate again, but this time used the Firefox ‘Back Button’. The 2nd Paypal paragraph – says NOT to use the ‘Back Button’… ?? ???

    So I ended back at my Admin page. Good.

    So this ‘NEW’ version is older, and still in beta.

    In-other-words – I’m not excited about trying out the “new-structure branch”. Guess I’m not in ‘Beta Testing’ mood today… ??

    So for now – I will just NOT use the ‘Overview’ option.

    I do not want to suggest or claim – that parts of your plugin – is the cause, to my particular problem. It’s just a ‘possibility’… ??

    Since I have no experience as a Plugin Developer or as “technical problem solver”, any advice I offer – should remain close to ‘zero’… ??

    It’s version is: 12.6.4

    I currently running v12.6.7

    The version will be changed after complete the branch. if you want to use this version, you can change the version manually.

    Guess I’m not in ‘Beta Testing’ mood today…

    Don’t worry, because we had first tests and this is offered to get any feedback ??

    So for now – I will just NOT use the ‘Overview’ option.

    Please enable WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php and see the current errors. that maybe help you to find the problem.
