I had assumed that the plugin would overwrite a users previous avatar when they uploaded a new one. It appears though that if they do not manually delete it then it remains in the uploads folder.

Is there a way to fix this? I allow users to upload avatars in their bbpress profile and having 100 users upload numerous avatars makes this current issue one that makes the plugin unusable for me.

  • I think i’m experieencing the same problem with updating my avatar on the frontend (it actually shows up in the backend but refusses it on the frontend) also deleting uploaded avatars won’t work

    My website is: https://www.ps4actueel.nl

Gravatar avatars update fine but that’s not the way i want it.

I’m using the latest version of avatar-manager and also the latest version of WordPress. Some relevant plugins i use are:

    Theme my login and Buddypress.
