We’ve got a Formidable form on a live website, and we have logs of many users filling out those forms on the live site.
We’re also doing development of the website on a development server, and will soon be pushing those changes over to the Production server.
I believe that Formidable stores all of its entries as posts. How do I make sure that I preserve my log of previous entries after I publish the new changes from Dev to Live?
    Thank you.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us today. I am happy to help.

When importing forms from your development site to your live site, choose the XML file option.

If your imported form/entry/View/Style key and creation date match an item on your site, that item will be updated – in this case your form will be updated.

So long as the file you are importing does not contain entries with matching IDs, then the entries on your live site will not be deleted or overwritten.
