Overwriting static front page

Hello

I am using the Twenty-fourteen theme for my site. However, I have created a landing page using the Inbound Now plug-in for this purpose. I have chosen the Svtle template. My theme is set to allow me to choose a static front page for my landing page. However, the pages listed for this purpose only include those under ‘Pages’ within the admin section of my site. The landing page that I have created is listed under ‘Landing Pages’ rather than ‘Pages’, which is why I currently can’t select it from the list of available statics front pages. Is it possible for me to use CSS code in the Additional CSS section of my site to overwrite the requirement that the landing page should be a static front page from ‘Pages’, as defined by the theme? Clearly, I want my new landing page to act as a landing page.
