ow to add title for each page by Yaost SEo plugin?

Go to the ‘Yoast SEO’ area when you’re editing your page, and click on the page title in the ‘Snippet Editor’ or click on the ‘Edit snippet’ button.

I have followed the instructions provided by you, however I wanted to change title for each page which we can see on browser tab. Like on Yoast website for every page we can see different title in browser tab that the same thing I wanted to be change for my site. How I can achieve it? Please could you help me into it?

What I said is how that’s done. It changes the title shown in the browser.

Yes that is right. You will see this on your page to confirm it for yourself.

You are using a very old version of Yoast SEO. I’d advise you to update it so you’ll be up-to-date with it.

Hi @catacaustic, I have updated my Yoast SEO but still my title is not getting updated on browser tab. I have check header.php. The previous developer had added title there after closing head tag.
Please check below screenshot. and its taking title from there. can u help me here?

Ah… Yes that’s a huge issue.

To fix that, replace that whole line with this:

<title><?php wp_title(); ?></title>

And put it back inside the header tag. Who ever made that theme got that part very badly wrong.
