OWA displays a white page in the dashboard
-
By all accounts I shouldn’t be having any problems, when reading around about open web analytics, but I’m apparantly doing something wrong.
I’ve copied the entire owa-folder into the plugins-directory.
At first I didn’t even get an error message, just a white page that seemed finished but nothing was changed, when activating the OWA plugin.
When deactivating the WP-stats widget I got an error stating: “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
After deactivating all widgets, it installed alright – but the stats page in the dashboard is showing up as a blank page. It would appear that it’s calling for a page that doesn’t exist (in my limited experience) https://opassande.se/wp-admin/index.php?page=owa As far as I can tell from reading around I’m not supposed to move around any files in the dirs, so I’m a bit unsure of what to do next.
I’ve double-checked that <?php wp_footer(); ?> is around in the footer as the wiki stated it may be problems with that. The tables for owa was also successfully created in mysql (as far as I can tell).
I have imported all the posts from wordpress.com, and there is some sort of problems with the permalink feature, if that may have anything to do with it. (I have to use “ugly” urls in order to avoid a 404-page.)
Must I consider some sort of chmod-prob? If that’s the case I would simply love finding out which files, and what setting, is requires in order for it to work.
I’m using WP 2.2, mysql 4.0.24 and php 4.3.10-16 and control the server through Webmin.
I hope I managed to put everything needed in the post, if not, please have patience with me – tech-savvy I’m not! ??
